50% of Voters Consider Owning a Gun Patriotic

47% do not. 3% are still pondering what cereal to have for lunch

At a very basic level, owning a gun just seems something that one does. Like maintaining a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, or a well regulated tool kit. Keeping a pair of Channellocks is not patriotic - it's just smart.

Actively supporting the people's rights, learning and observing the political process, engaging others in reasoned discourse, voting -- and standing in the breach -- are the acts of a patriot.
