Good Samaritan who stopped attack on Lakewood deputy honored

 "The good Samaritan who authorities say stopped a man with a history of assaulting police officers from attacking a Lakewood deputy in late August was honored at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Medal of Valor awards Thursday."
